I beg to differ. That boy is stout, can run as he does on us on occassion, and can make the throws. Remember he is a true Sophomore. I wish he was not good, then we could have a better chance to beat him. With all that said, I hope he sucks big time in November due our defense on his arse

See, I think this is just a common misconception of QBs in general. For example, put Tom Brady behind Cincinnati's offensive line - he wouldn't be playing football anymore.

For the past 10 years, Bama's strength has been, and continues to be, in the "trenches". How many starting QBs does Bama have in the NFL today? How many QBs from Bama has started in the NFL in the past 10 years!?

Bama QBs are, at best, mediocre game managers. McCarron was their best game manager in the past 10 years, that's why he had success - still doesn't start in the NFL.

More to my point - Alabama QBs have not won a game in the NFL since 1988
