I'm getting 9... and these intentionally poorly written math problems are starting to get annoying.

These aren't gotchas. They are just written shitty.

I said the same thing in the last math question thread a few weeks ago, the common denominator (pun intended) in all these questions is a parenthesis (or lack thereof).
