That is the key. That's what made 2013 the most offensively productive year in LSU history.

Speaking of 2013... yeah, I know not enough data yet but I'm comparing anyway since it's relevant to the subject at hand:

Plays/gm: 2013= 65.3 vsBYU= 75
Yds/play: 2013= 6.94 vsBYU= 6.4
Penalties: 2013= 6.92/56.3 vsBYU= 10/86

I'm drawing no other conclusions, long or short range. than:
A) yep, penalties are a problem
B) it was indeed an offensively productive game, no matter the run/pass ratio.

Yeah, we ran alot. It was nice to see it. Why? we were running into 6 & 7 man fronts. How long has it been since that?
