this definitely is a shite peformance but it changes nothing I said earlier about what happened at LSU and how well chief did here. chief is not a recruiter and TAMu does not have the talent we had.

Chavis really always was a good DC but man, he's ALWAYS had the stupidest approach to defense with a lead.

Recruiting is a key part of being a college coach, be it head coach, coordinator or position coach.

He was good, not great, for three or four years, sucked the last two and had already accepted a job while coaching a bowl game LSU lost because of his coaching. He also blew another bowl game and two wins against Alabama because of his piss-poor, end-of-game, situational defense.
