If there were only a handful of bakeries in the country, and they were some of the most powerful entities in the country, I would want the government to use the antitrust laws to break up the Big Pastry cabal, yes.

That is such a strawman argument.
Should AT&T be able to drop phone service to groups they don't agree with? What about Entergy? What about water and sewage?
Comparing that to a small mom and pop bakery with limited reach and resources is willful ignorance.
