Playing sports with Type 1 Diabetes

My daughter is playing high school sports with Type 1 diabetes. Looking for any tips for her to make it through sports competition without having to sit out due to low blood sugar. Seems like starting comfortably above 120 before competition starts may work best for her.

Just going to take more preparation than the other kids. Make sure she eats right in the 24 hours leading up to the game and check bs during the games and have the proper snacks ready for halftime or whatever the structured break may be.

Not to be a dick, but that's a legitimate health issue that you should be bringing up with a doctor.
