how is that not reasonable suspicion you were driving intoxicated...which is a crime...if for example he was driving on the wrong side of the road.

The suspect died at the scene. The patient was the vicim, not the perp.

You realize the cops were in pursuit of the driver of the vehicle who died at the scene after hitting a truck driver who was an off duty cop?

My assumption is they wanted the blood draw quickly to clear the fellow LEO and go HAAM on the deceased so his family couldn't sue.
