Not at all.

The red states have all of the Military advantages.

The most guns per capita, The most military bases, and practically all of the nukes.


You wouldn't even be able to claim that the Military would support the Blue because the military would typically side with the conservatives over the left.

The United States armed forces are going to side with the primary government, which will not be the Southern States.

Most guns per capita do not mean a thing when they're in the hands of the most uneducated and most overweight region of the country.

President Trump in his infinite buffoonery would not back this and would put the southern states down immediately. Hell, the next hurricane that came through would be devastating when the South begs for help and none comes.

You think the southern states could handle the north, they couldn't take North Korea.

I think the politicians and bureaucracy are much more suspect than the military. I think most of the professional military know that they are Constitutionally bound against action upon the citizens. I figure once we are at the point of all out civil war, the federal alphabet agencies, and probably at least some of the police force will be the real issue.
