I think it'll be good nonetheless. Losing Pablo sucks because he's such a notorious character but I doubt the show drops in value/intrigue. If anything I'll be more into it since I know less about the Cali cartel.

If anything I think the Pablo storyline was losing its steam. There were 1-2 episodes last season where they kind of just twittled their thumbs waiting until the finale

I hated losing Pablo because the guy who played him did such a fantastic job.

But, having just finished Season 3, there are plenty of good characters from previous seasons that get developed much more in depth, and they do a good job. There's a new character (Jorge) in Season 3 that helps carry the season, too.

I wasn't crazy about the new DEA guys, though.
