I feel like the optic gets a lot less protection in this setup. The rear sight sort of acts like a barrier for the RMR on my core, even though the RMR is pretty damn robust.
I think the Aimpoint micro on a handgun is the dumbest looking shite ever. Adds weight and slows down the speed of the slide but I guess different strokes for different folks...
