Ali was 127 years old when he fought Larry Holmes.

...and btw, Larry Holmes was actually 38 years old when he fought Tyson and had BEEN OUT OF BOXING FOR 2 YEARS and still went 4 rounds with Tyson.

And Holmes was prophetic - way before Holyfield and head-butting and biting ears and hitting Lennox behind the head after the bell.

In 1987, Holmes said: "I didn't see a guy with class in there, I see a guy who throws elbows, I see a guy who throws (head)butts and I see a guy who hits after the bell."

Tyson fought tomato cans and old washed up fighters from the golden age of heavyweight boxing in the 1970's.

That's why Tyson claimed the title so young, the division was practically vacant.
