Short term power or internet outage? My home network infrastructure is all battery-backed, I still have hundreds of hours of viewing at my fingertips over WiFi
Long term power or internet outage/natural disaster scenario? Start up the generator, kick back and relax with hundreds of titles on demand.
We have all of the tailgate equipment at that house too, so the generator is already there. I use a good bit of bandwidth twitch streaming, so I needed to keep the Plex server off my network to save for that.

Just copy the files to an HDD at each house and spare your unnecessary bandwidth waste before you all get hit with high costs.
