I think it's a great way to UNDERdevelop a kid's social skills,
The beauty is that it makes the helicopter parent feel like they're doing something special. If you're worried about too much diversity for your kid to attend public schools, then send them to a private school.
Public school would never be an option for me, and I'm not fig enough to home school.
