ESPN is swinging the big dick in this. I doubt they care where the game is played as much as they are it gets played in its original 8:30 time slot. Noon, Rouge? Noon? Gtfo

It will take everything the stadium has just to turn it over from Thursday night to Saturday night. You have to remember it's brand new and there are still a ton of things it's working out right now and a lot of unknowns. I was at the Falcons game last night and there's a lot of work to be done back-of-house operationally by next Saturday. Also, it's virtually impossible to play two major football games in the same venue on the same day. The average fan has no idea how much work goes into getting a venue prepped for a game. Long story short, this game has a better chance of getting played in pretty much every other city in the U.S. due to the timing. Hope the Tigers are playing here in January though.
