How do you "turn into" a Saban/Harbaugh type?

You either are or you aren't. O isn't.

The guy that kicked Sabans arse in the championship last year didn't just wake up one day a national championship coach.

I don't see it mentioned often when speaking of his Ole Miss days but does anyone really think these are comparable situations?

You have a program in the dumps..taken over by a young, "green", overly enthusiastic cajun fella.

Compared to a program with 3 natty appearences in 15 years, who's benchmark is beating the dynasty in BAMA who just happens to be in the same division.

O didnt have the resources to build a great program at Ole Miss. He has every tool he needs and the personality to suit to bring LSU back to the top.

The Orgeron hiring decision seems to be based on the notion, never tested to my knowledge, that if your Coordinators are good enough, your HC need not be qualified.
This theory strongly underestimates the role of the HC in organizing and managing a coherent, sustainable and successful program.
DaCoachO has never succeeded in this, but the plan seems to be to "hope" he will.
