During these two weeks? Quite a bit. My daughter has severe asthma, so the wife took the kids to Florida for the 10 days I was working on the house.
Because of the asthma we usually are constantly cleaning, so I only have to change every other month.

Yeah that dry wall dust will seal a filter tight!
Not sure about that smell though, maybe a motor or wiring that got hot.
