The joint chiefs and military generals would disagree. These people are not part of the D.C. Establishment. They stay out of politics more than any other part of our government.

This board can have there opinions on how they still support president Trump and feel that how he handled the Charlottesville situation is okay, but most of America would disagree.

You can still support his policies and his agenda, but the way he handled the Charlottesville situation was a huge mistake and will be what he will be remembered for no matter what is accomplished.

How would your parents or grandparents feel that lived through WWII feel about this?

My grandfather would be heartbroken. He watched his best friends die and saw the concentration camps. I heard him talk about it one time with tears in his eyes and he was the strongest man I have ever known.

Comparing anything to Nazi's/white supremacist is just wrong even if there was blame on both sides.

Like I said, Trump is having a great week!

Now my parents and my grandparents who lived through and fought in World War II didn't give in to their feelings when words were said that they didn't agree with. They also wouldn't fight someone because of words they didn't agree with. They fought against an enemy who was against their freedoms and way of life.

My uncle was in the first Division that liberated Dachau death camp. You want to talk feelings turned into actions?

You are a conundrum.
