He wasn't a blip on the radar because the Alt-right movement wasn't relevant.

He's absolutely a leader of the alt-right. It's absolutely a racist movement. You can lie about or continue to use your incorrect definition of what the alt-right is, but Spencer is a big part of it.

the "alt-right" was similar to the "Tea Party" in that it meant different things to different people

just like the Tea Party clearly devolved into christian-conservative authoritarianism, the alt-right has devolved into identity politics

that's why i said the "alt-lite" has all the "pro-West" beliefs without any of the racism or antisemitism
