Hey man, you just referenced something and I think you're not understanding why folks do what they do.

You just drug up a topic from like February comparing LSJ to Tom Brady. You have to understand this was done in jest, sarcastic, and based TOTALLY on the fact folks like you wouldn't stop telling anyone that would listen that he was the best evah. The responses that are offending you were brought on by......you.

Objectively, LS didn't have any major offers outside of LSU, and in fact, he was a last minute option when Franks didn't work out. Doesn't that tell you something?

Had he successfully won the job, it would've been an awesome story. But the fact that he didn't, and in fact got passed up by two true freshman...that doesn't take away from his greatest assets. Everything I've ever heard about him is he's a phenomenal person, and I know he's extremely intelligent. He's also a guy that wants to compete on the football field. Thus...HIS decision to transfer.

He did it like a man. You talking about your "time of sorrow" is ridiculous. If you're related to him, you're being selfish. If you're not, you're being extremely creepy.

I went to John Curtis. Willie Allen recently transferred, and considering the depth chart on the OL, this is actually significant. But I didn't see a bunch of whackos creating threads talking about how LSU misdiagnosed his talent. And I didn't shed a tear for crying out loud. He'll find an opportunity elsewhere.
Whereas a guy like Duke Riley, another Curtis alum, waited it out and worked extremely hard to EARN his playing time at LSU. Worked out pretty well for him.

LSJ will be fine in life despite the fact he never played a down of football for LSU. It's really sad fans are having "time of sorrow" over it. I bet LSJ is relieved and excited looking forward to the next chapter of his life.

I concede some points, but I hope you understand something, this wasn't just about the Brady comparison mocking Scott in a thread, it's also the outrageous posts in the thread announcing Scott's transferring, can't simply turn away from them! Not in my character to ignore it.

Ending on a positive note, LSU will likely have a dynamite season. So will Scott, wherever he lands.
