Two polls find President Donald J. Trump’s approval rating has rebounded from July.
The new Zogby Analytics poll shows Trump with a 45 percent approval rating, driven by big gains among Hispanics, union households and voters in the West.
President Trump’s approval numbers are stronger with men at 49% approval/48% disapproval, than among women voters-40% approval/53% disapproval. The president’s approval rating did improve a little among women in the Zogby Analytics August poll.
Trump’s approval numbers remain strong among likely Republican voters — 76% approval/22% disapproval. According to Zogby, that is almost identical from their July poll. Among Independents, Trump’s numbers improved nearly seven points to 40% approval/50% disapproval.

Trump saw one the biggest improvements among Hispanics — his approval increased 11% to 42% approval versus 55% disapproval.
Trump’s numbers also increased significantly among union voters from 43% approval to 51% approval in August.
The new Zogby Analytics poll was conducted from August 4 to August 7, 2017 and margin of error of +/- 2.7 percentage points.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for August 11, 2017 also found that 45% of voters approve of the President Trump’s job performance. A week ago, only 39% approved of the job Trump is doing

The Zogby Analytics that at the same time has him losing to Elizabeth Warren, Mark Zuckerberg, and someone else I can't remember.

Let's be honest he would probably be down in the polls vs most Democrats. He lost by > 2% points to Hillary and has a 57% Disapproval number. Trumps biggest problem is growing his base but for now he needs to really keep it together.

Was it Hillary Clinton?

You realize Trump didn't win majority vote/ percentages nationally?
Most the polls underestimated both Clinton and Trumps final percentages. Hillary ~2% and Trump ~3%

Doesn't matter if he won popular vote or not

I agree, but the whole "fake" polls schtick isn't really true since he didn't win the popular vote and lost by ~2% points.

So, you are saying the polls were accurate?
Posted on 8/13/17 at 7:36 pm to Janky
National Polls were about as bad for Clinton as Trump
Clinton Avg RCP was 2% lower than election results and Trumps was ~3% points lower. The polls were off for both candidates.

Polls were shite.
There wasn't a single poll that showed s Trump lead in Wisconsin.
4 out of 5 had significant, outside of margin, leads for Clinton in PA and MI.
Trump won Ohio by 9 pts. If someone had suggested that 24hrs before voting, even Trump supporters would have called that crazy. No poll suggested anything like that being remotely possible.
National polls were not as bad but they are really almost meaningless.
Polls were shite.
