Any recommendations for a bachelor party weekend camping/canoeing trip? This would probably be in March, and most of us would be traveling from Nola

West Virginia has some great canoeing, among other activities.
For a detailed list of the "other activities" go visit this little fella and his family will handle everything from there.

I would usually suggest Arkansas for this, but that's a haul from NOLA. It's sort of out of the box, but you might consider the Florida panhandle around Pensacola. The Blackwater River is kind of a neat canoeing area, and you could camp out. March would be pretty good weather. Then you could roll into Pensacola to party, if you're wanting to have a night on the town.

Ocoee in Tennessee is good, could raft it one day, canoe the hiwassee the next. Chattanooga is close enough to go out if ya wanted.

How 'bout Mt Bachelor in Bend, OR. Has all of that, plus skiing and a plethora of great breweries.
