talent level doesn't matter. If he suddenly lights it up and plays well consistently it just confirms that it was mostly coaching. Because what has been the biggest argument with him was poor decision making and not very smart.

Yep. He actually only played QB for two years before he went to LSU. He needed to start in a spread system and let them build him up. Trying to learn how to be an NFL QB (reading defenses and coverages, proper footwork, going through progressions, etc) after only learning the position like 2-3 years had to be extremely rough.

Had he gone to Miss St, he would have benefited greatly. Sitting behind Dak and learning from QB guru Mullen he could have been dominating the SEC for two straight years. If Miss St QB Nick Fitzgerald, who threw only 86 passes in 23 career high school games, could throw for 2400 yards and 21 TDs in the SEC West as a first year starter, Harris would have easily went over 3k.

You are a good poster but this is so wrong. He had 4 legendary yrs at Parkway, came from a football family, his father, Diesel, a former player, mentored him. Or you can believe that he showed up as a Parkway Jr. Varsity Freshman throwing the ball 70 yds by accident...spinning it so hard that his receivers had to get gloves.
