this Google shite probably won't be some sort of inflection/tipping point, but it may be
it just has so much of the dark side of progressivism
claims of promoting/desiring diversity and attacking diversity of thought
running victory laps in celebration of their hypocrisy

You saw they called off a Town Hall meeting on diversity because they were afraid portions of it would be leaked? No doubt the plan was to reassure everyone that views like that of Damore (no doubt presented in a skewed manner) would not be tolerated, but that everyone could still speak freely. They now probably fear that they have emboldened those who think like Damore to leak info to the press.
This whole fiasco has shown Google to be a microcosm of life run by the Progressive Diversity Agenda. Chilling if you are not 100% lock step in line.
