In no way would I say journalists should refrain from twitter but I think it might behoove them to have 2 twitter accounts. One that they use to strictly report what they know, are being told, or that they are finding during their own investigations.
Journalists are still people who have a right to have their own thoughts and opinions. I think they should have a 2nd twitter account where they stick strictly to their opinions, musings and communicating with their friends/family.
