Tom Cruise's first step to reputation rehabilitation after his couch craziness was Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder. It worked for him.

Only thing that would've made it better is if Instead of an old lady trying to get in the elevator, it would've been John McEnroe yelling "Come on!!"
