I like this thread. I believe LSU may have the best defense in the country this year. they have the beef up front and the speed on the edges. they have a thumper in the middle and phenoms in the d backfield.
they also have perhaps the all purpose yardage leader in the NCAA (lead the SEC in rushing as a backup) and Heisman contender. once again, the enigma is in the passing game.
I like their chances to contend for the championship.

I am not confident at all that Etling will guide us to an undefeated season, but we did make it to 13-0 with Jarrett Lee and JJ. You just never know....
