ut when you've seen two other relievers that throw 98-101 then you know what to expect from Chapman.

It isn't like he developed a off speed pitch to fool you
and once again, if hitters have gotten used to that level of velocity, i dont see why chapman would be the only pitcher affected

It won't copy and paste the second part, but has he effectively thrown his secondary pitches? No so that point is irrelevant. He can throw them more for balls all year.
