Normally, I would agree with you. However, the one thing that stops this argument dead in its tracks is the fact that they were in extra holes. Doesn't matter how putts were handled all day, that all goes out the window when there are zero holes left that can be used as a buffer.

It doesn't matter how they were handled all day anyway per the rules. But it would be nice to know how they were handled. The story just felt incomplete for me. What if all day the blond was making her ask. Then this is a non-story. That is my point. The media may have twisted this to make it a story.
