It appears they have a forward and rear facing camera. Cameras in vehicles are relatively common in certain parts of the world.

In some countries they are required for insurance purposes.

Well, why is the vehicle completely stopped with the trunk open in one video, but still moving without the trunk open in another video, both of which are less then a second before impact?
