Sansa: I wish Jon were here.
Bran: Me too. I need to talk to him.

Wait... what? Was this in the show? How did I miss this?

Right before the "I'm the 3-eyed Raven" thing. I caught it too, Bran obviously knows the score.

I see no big deal about Sansa saying Bran should be Lord of Winterfell. Since neither Robb nor Rickon had produced kids, Bran, as the eldest surviving legitimate son, is the clear heir to the Stark's house. If he asked for it, I imagine the entire North would be supportive of his claim, and honestly, Jon would likely yield to him without a fuss. He wanted to give it to Sansa, who had less of a claim than Bran does, but is still a Stark. It would break up the big alliance most likely, unless Jon were willing to kneel and give his position over to Bran (who would probably then keep Jon as his general and advisor).

I think it will create some tension when the word a Stark male has shown up, unless he's public and adamant about giving up his place to Jon. That still might be problematic. But again, the North accepted that Sansa yielded her claim to support Jon, and if Bran does too, Jon should be ok... at least during the immediate wartime period. If it were peaceful, Bran would definitely be the target of some people stirring up trouble- at any time, he could claim his spot, and separate the North.

At this point the WW and NK are bigger concerns than titles.

Bran doesn't want the north and said as much. He is the 3 eye raven now.

Why would Rickon having kids affect Bran being heir? Isn't Bran older than Rickon anyway? Been a while since I've read the books or seen the early seasons of the show

She didn't yield it, they chose Jon.
