Do the towel drill where you place a towel under both arms and keep the hands and butt of the club ahead of the ball throughout the chip shot by rotating the shoulders back and then through impact - slightly open stance with 60/40 weight distribution on left side for a right- hander. The towel needs do stay tucked under your arms - otherwise you've allowed your arms to come unhinged and you're likely to jab at the ball and allow your club face to shut down rather than maintain it's loft and proper bounce with the wedge. Practice first some short shots then progress to longer chips - hit 200 chips per day for a few days and the tempo and feel will become routine and less mechanical - soon you'll be able to have confidence to open the blade on some more delicate flop shots and apply a cocked wrist with otherwise similar rotation of the shoulders but releasing the hands more so than on the standard chip.
