There's absolutely nothing wrong with eating carbohydrates provided you actually get your heart rate above the resting rate occasionally.

There are no good carbs if you live a completely sedentary life.

Carbs are terrible for long-term health - particularly in the quantities that have been recommended as the "base" of the food pyramid.
