What if these dead people are some how voting in elections? That would make it a big deal.

Sure it would but do you see the obvious problem with this "what if?" Someone would have to know that a particular registered voter has died. Then that someone would have to go to a neighborhood polling place and claim to be the person who died. I know in my polling place, that table of old folks know who most people are. Last time I voted a lady at the table talked about who lived in my house 40 years ago. Then in order for this scheme to make any difference, you would have to identity impersonate thousands of people at their local polling places.

The fantasy of voter fraud changing election outcomes is divorced from the realities of voting in America.

The real risk to the integrity of voting in America is hacking into the computerized machines or vote counting software or voter roll databases. That is where one could make a meaningful change in the outcome. That's why there is so much at stake in the hacking issues.

Apparently both of our questions are "what if". You do not know if these deceased voters are not being taken advantage of either, which is why there is currently a law suit taking place against the county.

Voter rolls need to be checked annually for situations such as these. People who've died and left the area. That would reduce the number by a large amount.

So it's not a big deal because some old people "know everyone" in the area and some lady knew who lived in your house? What an interesting (read dumbass) way to argue this. I applaud your effort.
