First off, very few have survived from the TPI/TBI years for good reason. Now dealers cant make any profit on something that old so you wont find them on lots. The best way to find these are free advertisements and pure luck of driving around and word of mouth. I have a few junking friends that do nothing but drive around looking to scrap, barter, salvage stuff. These types of people are your key to finding good deals and know every vehicle in the area that has a for sale sign.
BTW now is good time to get into a 80's/90's. Its always been my opinion that the collector car market follows age (not car style). That the hot vehicles are the ones that were around when people with money were teenagers. People that were in their teens in late 80's and 90's are getting set in their career and about to push kids out of the nest. These year vehicles will get popular real quick. Even the terrible cars will be popular. I remember when 80's and 90's pony cars were worth more scrapped. Now look at them.
