Isn't that why we hired our DL coach as a HC? Because he is the greatest recruiter ever in the history of the world? That's what I was told.

Ole Miss isn't going to be able to pull any kind of real talent for a while, regardless of who the coach is. Hell, they couldn't pull talent without cheating before. That's why they're in this mess to begin with.
