Considering going on Wednesday, but then thought, that stadium isn't great, long el ride back north, I don't really care about the sox in any setting...I dunno. Would rather see the Cubbies play anyone in Wrigley.

I have a question, and I'm hoping the smart folks here know outright: When the MLB network shows Cubs games they use the Len and JD feed, no matter if the Cubs are home or away. I'm certainly not complaining, but I'm wondering why. I don't think it's based on who's broadcasting cause today is ABC7 and this weekend was CSN, but who knows...

I havent watched on MLBN in a while, only MLBTV. I just assumed Costas or Vasgersian did the MLBN broadcasts

We were watching some of the sunday night broadcast last night, and the GF, who is a Cubs fan second to the Tigers says "I like the regular guys better, they're funnier". And I thought, yeah, she's got a point. Not saying Dan Shulman isn't good, but in terms of entertainment value, those guys don't really bring it.

Len and JD just know when to be quiet when it's needed. They'll give a few seconds in between commentary so you can take the sounds of the game in and they're not try-hards. Anytime they're being lame, they know it and make fun of it.

whenever they show games during the day, or their alternate game of the night or whatever, they just pipe in one of the local crews, saves a lot on overhead I'd imagine
