In search of the ultimate replacement for the bread and butter 60 watt incandescent light bulb I've tried TCP, Feit, GE, Philips and Ecosmart LED's. I believe that Cree has them beat with this LINK

While the others are all good I prefer the brightness and color of the Cree. Plus, at $2.50 / bulb you can't beat their 10 year warranty.

What you got?

I like the Walmart Great Value non-dimmable bulbs. They're the only A19's I have that don't buzz, and the color is surprisingly good. All the cheap Philips bulbs I bought at Home Depot buzz. I hate them. The only Cree I owned buzzed. In fact, I replaced the Cree and several of the Philips with the Walmarks cheapies.

I haven't tried many, but I like the Feit. They are instant on, nice color. I first bought their 4ft shop lights from Costco for the garage and attic, which made me try their A19s.

Had an electrician at the house Friday and asked him about LED bulbs. He said he recommends hyperikon. Said he uses them all the time with no buzzing.
Haven't tried them yet, but i'll buy some to see if they work soon.

I second the Wal-Mart bulbs.

I bought some generic brand off Amazon for my e12 bulbs
