Angry, yes. Little bitch...hardly. I'm more of a fed-up, raving lunatic, anti-tax, limited government a-hole. And people like you, JBE, and SWB whose only solution is to confiscate more of my earnings can go to hell. You offer no solutions other than tax raises or other revenue raising (tolls) as opposed to calling for fiscal accountability. I'll offer you the same challenge I always do.
If you feel you don't pay enough in taxes, send a check to the state. I'll gladly oppose you and any other tax lover as I think I pay enough already and get little if anything in return.

Good Lord, man. When have I never called for accountability? I was very excited about Abramson's bill to strengthen the trust fund to make sure that the road money was going where it was supposed to go. It was an effort to do exactly what people like you bitch about, i.e., create accountability. But no, it's still a tax, so hell naw I ain't votin for it.

I have not heard you offer any solutions on how to pay for a billion dollar bridge. Since you live in Erwinville, I'm assuming you agree that one needs to be built.

ETA: My SIL and BIL live in your hood (I was there yesterday), and they both commute to the LSU vet school every day. They spend retarded amounts of time in traffic every single day. I travel through BR and across the river on a weekly basis. So it's not like I'm just sitting here pontificating about something I know nothing about.

Someone they diverted a million dollars of Gustav relief to build bike paths and do other things and they lost a million dollars in BRAVE money because they don't have a need for if, but they raise property taxes to fund corrupt agencies like CATS and the COA.

And then they try and shame us for not being frugal with our own money.

Other than the raving lunatic part this pretty much describes me too.
