Is anybody else moderately bummed that QUARRY was never renewed?

I enjoyed that series, the time period, the kind of over the top plot, the Southern vibe, etc. I fully expected a second season- but it never came and never will. Anybody remember the series or was I the only one who thought it had potential?

is that the one that was set in the post Vietnam days with the main character being some sort of hit man in Memphis? If so, I forgot about that show but did tune in for it. Would have continued watching it for a second season.

Yeah That's the one. For an eight episode series, I sure do remember it well. I thought for sure we'd get a season two.

Loved that show. Last episode was amazing.
