Research the demographics of Crimea. It's population is overwhelmingly Russian speaking and adheres to the Russian Orthodox faith. Okay, you have a good point. But does that make it okay to just send troops into another country and occupy/annex it? No. This is 2017. The world isn't supposed to work that way anymore.
