The 2009 season was so perfect. Outside of the 3 game skid after the 13-0 start..

So many breaks the entire season and everyone for the most part stayed healthy. My favorite game from 09 is @ The Redskins.

When Meacham took the ball back after it was intercepted then returned it for a TD. That play to me was the entire spirit of the 2009 team. They never gave up no matter the circumstances.

Agreed on all of this.

I'd add in the Miami game in 09. Incredible comeback and the Brees goal line leap then dunking it to celebrate. Definitely started to sink in that that team was going to do something special.

Some of the earlier ones that always stayed with me were the 42-0 win over Denver as others mentioned. I met John Elway outside of the visitor's locker room and he declined to take a picture with me

I remember beating San Francisco 10-3 back in 1991 to get to 10-1. Beating the Niners was always something to cherish back then, but the way The Dome Patrol shut down that offense down was one of the most satisfying sports memories I had for a long time. That defense was legendary. All four made the Pro Bowl

Another big one for me was beating Atlanta in 2000. I was a huge fan of the move to draft Ricky Williams, thought he was going to be an all time great. After such a tough first year, he reeled off five straight 100 yard games including 150+ in the Georgia Dome to get us to 7-3 before getting hurt the next week.

I was so freaking excited that we had what I thought was going to be the best player in the NFL. Really wish things could have worked out for Ricky and the Saints. Still love that guy and that was a game that really made me optimistic about the team in a way I hadn't been for a long long time.

Similarly, beating Tampa Bay in 2006 on the Reggie punt return TD was amazing. Again I was a huge fan of drafting him, and seeing Bush get to the end zone for the first time after weeks of him seeming frustrated seemed like a huge release and just made me feel like things were finally going to work out for us.

We all know and talk about the Gleason block because of the setting and what it meant as the first game back but that Reggie punt return was just as loud if not louder. Very electric moment in The Dome that I rank right up there with the best of them.

1991 Saints defense is one of the greatest all-time defenses overshadowed by the GOAT 1991 Philadelphia Eagles defense but they were great from a holistic standpoint it wasn't simply the linebackers that was a unit as well and all performed their collective tasks tremendously

How can this game be mentioned without bringing up the gondola catching fire?
