Rumormongers on the Houston Architecture Information Forum originally sleuthed out that In-N-Out had purchased land in Briarmeadow at Westheimer and Dunvale, and now Eater has obtained a property deed that confirms the buy. Houston commercial real estate broker Baker Katz was involved in the transaction.

Had In n Out for the first time yesterday. Honestly, not that great. Burger was decent and fries were good, but overall it was just ok. Good for around $8 I guess, but if I'm eating fast food it wouldn't be near my first choice.

Can't see any reason for going to In 'n Out as long as Hub Cap Grill is near by.

Sam's Boat is also a good burger joint. We only do fast food when car traveling. Otherwise I want to be waited on and drink a beer.

Between Hopdoddy and Shake Shack, we're reaching critical mass on Instagram-able burger chains.
