I wondered about that. My wife has it for work travel, so if we book a flight together would I get it also ?

I assume, yes. he didn't start getting pre-check until my application was approved.

If you are on the same ticket with someone that has precheck you will also get it.

No, you will both not get it. It's only given to the person who has it, and then the other person may randomly get it. I've had pre-check for years and recently flew and my girlfriend did not get it on her ticket. (I had purchased both tickets).
