re: Bulls Fans warming up to Antonio Blakeney

When he made those youtube videos in high school, I felt like I knew Blakeney better (on a somewhat personal level) than almost any other LSU athlete before/during his time wearing the purple & gold. It was obvious that he had a very strong work ethic and was fortunate to have a very good high school program with strong coaching and training equipment.

I saw flashes of his potential at LSU and not sure why he never fully put it together. The program seemed to have a snowball effect of negativity last year and is the most likely answer.

He gets a lot of height on his jump shot and will be a good corner 3 shooter. If he can become a plus defender and keep working on his game, then he may have a shot in the league. Playing/living/travelling in Europe as a 20 yr old can also be a great life.
