I love their jerky. And lord knows they sell a shite-pile of it. But it's obviously not for everybody. Their boudin recipe has improved and it's better but still doesn't come close to what you can buy from anywhere in/around Lafayette.
I don't eat red boudin.
Stopped in Boudreaux and Thibodaux's about 6 months ago. First time I'd been in years and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good.

Agreed, their boudin doesnt come close to any of the spots in Laffy/Scott., but jerky is spot on ('cept you have to be rich like a mofo to afford it)
