I lived in Collin County, but within the city limits of Dallas. Worked downtown Dallas. Couldn't tell much difference at all. Unfortunately I was taxed by the City of Dallas, County County and Plano School District.

You sound like you lived near me lol...

What about Trophy Club, TX?

Is that a suburb of Dallas or FW?

Anyone know much about Trophy Club?

Depends on your age, work, and wealth. The recent college grads tend to live in Uptown, whether they work downtown or not. I used to work downtown, but made the trip from Plano. Not great, but not a nightmare either.

I love living in Plano. It has everything you need and Addison (restaurant/bar capital) is only 5 minutes away. Frisco, Allen, McKinney and the surrounding cities are all very nice too and you can probably get bigger yards for the money.
