True. In high school I was 5'10, 165. We had a few solid 6'4, 250 type guys. I hit home runs they could hardly hit it to the outfield. They could also out lift me by about 200 pounds in every lift in the weight room. Why could my little arse hit it farther? Hitting a baseball is technique and skill not brute force.
Mantle could hit it 60 feet further than the 90s juiced up hitters and the monster hitters of today because "skill"? Give me a break.
