Then that person is an idiot who should be ridiculed.
A worldwide news organization doesn't get a free pass because an idiot politician made an idiotic statement.
This was not even illegal, much less treason. It wasn't even unethical. At the absolute worst, it was bad judgement.

I had looked away from tv for a minute. It was actually the Republican ethics counsel from the Bush Administration.
