310 should be 70mph. It's no more elevated than I-10 from 202 to 206(which is 70mph) with a fraction of the traffic of the Spillway(rightfully is 60mph). But powers that be claim it's some fog hazard area.

I drive it Daily and that's 100% bullshite.

LSP Troop B makes BANK on that stretch and it benefits their budget to keep it at 60. End of story.

So because you believe a speed limit should be higher than what is posted that gives you the right to go as fast as you think is safe? If you decide to go faster than the limit knowingly, at least don't be a little bitch when you get a ticket for it.

On top of that the state police don't keep it at 60. They have no control over what the limit is. Elected officials decide speed limits. At least get facts correct if your going to talk shite.

You realize that LSP receives no money from tickets.....all the money goes to the parish.
