I don't agree on the experiment or that they had to make the move. That is the type of move a perennial contender makes to put them over the top. Not a sub .500 team to make the playoffs. Having two premier post players is redundant and a luxury we can't afford. We could have stood pat and kept to the plan (if there ever was one)..

Some would say Curry and Klay are redundant?
We have the best front court in the NBA. The idea is to build around AD and Cousins isn't some crazy experiment. You act as if 2 big men can't play together in the modern game and that's crazy. If Demps can get us Lin then you have a very formidable top 5 in the West ball club. Meaning, Cousins chances of staying increase and cap room opens up next season.
Pelicans are probably 2-3 years away from making a legit run at title if we keep AD and Cousins. How many teams can say that?
